Burglary Facts

FBI reported that there were 1,515,096 burglaries in 2016. According to a survey done by the Department Of Justice approximately (50%) 1.5 million burglaries go unreported every year. That’s 1 burglary per 50 properties, 1 burglary every 10.5 seconds. (2017 FBI and DOJ crime reports will be available at a later date in 2018).

Hate Crime Facts

Hate crime surged 6% in 2015 and it’s expected to spike even higher in 2016. Between Wednesday, November 9, the day after Donald Trump presidential election, and the morning of Monday, November 14, more than 437 incidents of hateful intimidation or harassment have been reported to SPLC. (2016 FBI hate crime report will be available at a later date in 2017).

Fire Facts
